We may well
have some sense of the hard realities of statecraft, which often fail for a
variety of reasons. It would seem that we humans at various levels endorse with
inordinate attachments to a prominence
of wealth/economics and/or a of one's own nation-state as the highest goods, and
do so while neglecting more noble human goods. Such goods in our present human
predicament require a global cooperation instead of an investment in
self-preservation.
Here’s a vision along the lines of gleaning from the United
Nations Declaration of Human Rights and equitable ethics comprised in examining
critically those various conflicts with a multi-disciplinary statecraft team
operating on various levels, who have capacities to identifying from a large
spectrum of alternative and middle way approaches while listening, cooperating
and carving out peaceful solutions with other human agencies in a non-anxious
manner. Possible? With wise leadership!
"The highest [leader] — the people do not know he
exists" Tao Te Ching, 17
For the common citizen,
peacemaking is accomplished by discerning peoples, operating on an
understanding of ecumenical consensus, or endorsement of bellum iustum, i.e. a just use of force or
another of many traditions that mediate the world with a living praxis of
peacemaking, working
out their own selfcare (salvific existence) participating in a modal fashion
of being that is not of this world order, for the mixture creates modal
confusion. Being a peacemaker is essential to having any
chance at peace whether it is with yourself or others.

*Beatitudinal Functioning identifies a intelligible path to salvific dimensions
of profound selfcare and community of those genuinely called out of this world
order, receive and cultivate a cosmological consciousness that Jesus like Socrates
and Buddha lived and shared distinctly yet of similar patterns for rising above
the clamor, deceit and ignorance that prevails within and without. It
illuminates paths to finite transcendence
with our ontological situation of relating to realities of finitude,
existential exile, absurdity, ironies and human suffering that call for response,
revolt and re-union to the goods and one’s existential home.
